Her Excellency Tuba Nur Sonmez, Turkish Ambassador to Kuwait, affirmed Türkiye as a top travel choice for Kuwaitis, highlighting that many Kuwaitis own properties in major cities like Istanbul and Bursa.

Sonmez added in her speech during the Turkish Airlines Ghabqa, “In addition to tourism, Kuwaitis also use Istanbul and Sabiha Gokcen airports as transit points for their flights to Europe,” noting that her country welcomes all visitors.

She continued, “Our cultural relations with Kuwait stand as a testament to the common values and heritage that bind us. These relations are not only diplomatic but also woven into the fabric of our societies, facilitating interactions, enriching experiences, and enhancing mutual understanding that transcends borders.”
