Kuwait and Dubai strengthen aviation coordination and expertise exchange
Kuwait and Dubai have discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in civil aviation, with a focus on technical and operational expertise, coordination and developments in the air transport sector.
Chairman of the Public Authority of Civil Aviation Sheikh Engineer Hamoud Mubarak Al-Hamoud Al-Sabah held talks with Director General of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority Mohammed Langawi on Sunday to explore areas of joint cooperation between Kuwait and the Emirate of Dubai.
According to a statement from the authority, the meeting covered ways to strengthen relations between the two sides, exchange technical and operational expertise and discuss issues of common interest in civil aviation. The meeting also focused on enhancing coordination and supporting the development of the air transport sector, while keeping pace with the latest international practices in the field.
The discussions come as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation and knowledge exchange between aviation authorities, with technical and operational experience forming a key area of collaboration. The meeting was attended by Saud Kankzar, Executive Director of the Air Transport and International Affairs Sector at the Public Authority of Civil Aviation.
