61 facilities shut down in Shuwaikh Industrial for fire safety violations

The Kuwait Fire Force during an extensive inspection campaign on Monday evening administratively shut down 61 industrial facilities and shops, and issued warnings to 97 others in Shuwaikh Industrial Area 2, for non-compliance with the safety requirements of the fire force.

The campaign was organized in coordination with several government bodies, including the Ministry of Commerce, the Public Authority for Industry, and Kuwait Municipality.

The campaign targeted buildings and facilities that failed to comply with safety and fire prevention regulations.

Authorities emphasized that such campaigns are part of ongoing efforts to safeguard public safety and ensure strict adherence to fire prevention standards across the country.
