A 5.8 magnitude earthquake struck Afghanistan’s mountainous Hindu Kush region today, Friday, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said.
The quake was at a depth of 79 km (49 miles), 38 km from Bazarak, Afghanistan at 4:09 pm Afghanistan time, GFZ said.
The affected countries also include Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
