
The data released today by the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department at the Ministry of Justice, show a total of 414 real estate contracts were registered in Kuwait during the month of June, with a combined value of 367.3 million Kuwaiti dinars (approximately $1.2 billion).
The ministry’s website reported that private residential properties topped the list with 289 contracts valued at 114.3 million dinars (around $377 million). This was followed by investment properties, which accounted for 104 contracts worth 163.8 million dinars (approximately $540 million), reports Al-Rai daily.
In the commercial sector, 11 contracts were recorded, totaling 73.5 million dinars (about $242.5 million). The ministry also noted the registration of — 7 craft sector contracts worth 8.9 million dinars ($29 million); 1 warehouse contract valued at 1.9 million dinars ($6 million) and 2 contracts in the coastal strip totaling 4.7 million dinars ($15.5 million).
The following is the breakdown — Ahmadi Governorate led in terms of the number of contracts, recording 137 deals, followed by Hawalli with 89 contracts, Capital Governorate 75 contracts, Farwaniya 44, Mubarak Al-Kabeer 35 and Jahra 32 contracts.
The report highlights continued activity across various sectors of Kuwait’s real estate market, with strong investment interest reflected in both residential and commercial categories.
