Sources revealed to Al-Anbaa newspaper that 28 ministries, government entities, and institutions have integrated employees’ attendance and departure time fingerprints with the Civil Service Bureau’s systems.

This move aligns with the Civil Service Council’s decision to link the fingerprints of all ministries, agencies, and institutions with the bureau’s integrated systems.

Sources indicated that the remaining 27 entities out of a total of 55 are linked to the bureau’s integrated systems and are preparing to implement procedures for linking employees’ fingerprints to the Civil Service Bureau.

The sources stressed that the decision to link employees’ fingerprints to the Civil Service Commission aims to preserve the 30% fingerprint percentage during employee evaluations.

Regarding the question about exceptions for some entities from applying the fingerprint decision due to their working conditions, the sources answered: There are no exceptions to linking employees’ fingerprints in all 55 entities under the bureau.

Furthermore, Resolution No. 2 of 2024 issued by the Civil Service Council regarding fingerprint linking stipulates that all government agencies must automatically link with the integrated civil service systems at the Civil Service Bureau for implementing the system of attendance and departure verification via fingerprint, as well as for implementing work rules, provisions, and controls officially.

The competent leader and the leader next to him in responsibility must take all necessary measures to implement the aforementioned automatic connection, and the extent of commitment to this is included in the process of evaluating the performance of occupants of leadership positions.
