253 new international students accepted into Kuwait University

The admission of non-Kuwaiti students was conducted according to their preferences and the quotas set for each college by the University Council.

Accepted students will receive SMS notifications detailing their assigned college. Admission approval can be completed online through the electronic admission system (http://portal.ku.edu.kw/admission), with a fee of ten dinars.

Dr. Fadel Aziz, Acting Dean of Admission and Registration at Kuwait University, announced that 253 students from various nationalities have been accepted into the university’s faculties. These students are non-Kuwaiti high school graduates who meet the specified enrollment criteria, according to Q8-Press.

Aziz said that the admission of non-Kuwaiti students was conducted according to their preferences and the quotas set for each college by the University Council. This process also considered the minimum admission limits for Kuwaiti students and the admission policy, which stipulates that “non-Kuwaiti students must have a high school percentage or its equivalent that is not lower than the lowest percentage accepted for Kuwaiti students in the same specialization.”

He added that SMS notifications will be sent to all accepted students, specifying the college to which they have been admitted. Admission approval will be processed online via the electronic admission system website (http://portal.ku.edu.kw/admission), with a fee of ten dinars.
