18 arrests made; 200 citations issued during Ahmadi security campaign

A security campaign carried out by the Ahmadi Governorate Security Directorate resulted in the arrest of 18 people for a range of legal violations, including expired residency permits, absconding from sponsors, and overstaying visit visas.

Among those apprehended was a person wanted to serve a four-year prison sentence.

The coordinated operation, carried out in collaboration with Kuwait Municipality and under the supervision of senior officials, also led to the seizure of a vehicle involved in a breach of trust case.

The authorities removed eight unauthorized caravans, towed 11 abandoned vehicles, and issued 200 traffic citations during the security sweep.

Officials confirmed that security efforts in the governorate will continue, with targeted campaigns aimed at cracking down on violators and maintaining public order.
