100 citations issued by Farwaniya Municipality during inspection drive
Municipality targets illegal advertising; uncovers widespread regulatory breaches
The Audit and Follow-up Department of Municipal Services at the Farwaniya Municipality Branch has carried out a series of intensive inspection tours across markets and commercial shops to ensure compliance with municipal regulations and licensing requirements, resulting in the issuance of 100 violations.
Director of the department, Talal Al-Aqab, said the violations included a range of regulatory breaches such as failure to renew advertising licenses, installing promotional boards without permits, unauthorized use of public spaces and squares, and neglecting the maintenance of approved advertisements.
He added that inspectors are continuing their field campaigns across the governorate to closely monitor compliance and identify violators of municipal laws and regulations.
Al-Aqab stressed that strict legal measures will be taken against offenders in order to uphold order, regulate commercial activity, and ensure adherence to approved standards within the governorate.
