10 Kuwaiti innovators begin Silicon Valley 2025 accelerator program in San Francisco

The Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity, one of the centers affiliated with the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), announced that a select group of ten Kuwaiti innovators have begun participating in the Silicon Valley 2025 Accelerator Program in San Francisco, USA.

The program is being implemented by the Center in cooperation with Plug and Play, one of the world’s leading innovation hubs, as part of efforts to empower Kuwaiti talent and connect them with the global innovation ecosystem.

In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Saturday, the Center explained that the 10-day program provides participants with a unique opportunity to engage in a dynamic global innovation environment, allowing them to connect with entrepreneurs, investors, and experts from around the world — particularly within the American market.

Participants will refine their skills in business model development, market validation, and investment attraction strategies, gaining practical experience in how to position their projects for global success.

The program will culminate in a Demo Day, during which the Kuwaiti innovators will present their projects to an audience of international decision-makers and investors. The initiative focuses on projects in key strategic fields such as education, health, food and water security, energy, environment, and digital transformation, and is conducted entirely in English.

The Center affirmed that this partnership reflects its commitment to supporting national talent, fostering creativity, and broadening the horizons of Kuwaiti innovators within the global innovation system. It expressed its best wishes to the participants for success in showcasing their ideas and benefiting fully from this pioneering experience.

It further emphasized its ongoing dedication to enhancing the innovation capabilities of participants by providing them with the tools, mentorship, and international exposure necessary to achieve excellence and expand their projects into global markets.

The statement highlighted that the program offers a rare opportunity for Kuwaiti innovators to gain in-depth insights into artificial intelligence trends, cutting-edge innovation practices, and the competitive landscape of the U.S. market — enabling them to build valuable networks and develop sustainable strategies for growth.
