Kuwait’s automotive refinish industry transforms with installation of Axalta Irus Mix machines at ALSAYER Group
Axalta, a global leader in coatings and color solutions, has announced the installation of its first three Axalta Irus Mix machines in Kuwait at the ALSAYER Group. Founded in 1954, ALSAYER recently commemorated its 70th anniversary and continues to lead the automotive service industry in Kuwait.
The state-of-the-art Irus Mix machines, recognized as the fastest fully automated and hands-free paint mixing systems in the automotive refinish sector, have been installed at three key ALSAYER Group Mega Bodyshop locations: two at the Toyota Bodyshop in Al Rai and Ahmadi, and one at the Lexus Centre in Shuwaikh. Serving the entire Kuwaiti market, the ALSAYER Group’s facilities has a total throughput that surpass competitors.

Designed with sustainability in mind, Axalta Irus Mix utilizes a proven bottle system that eliminates the need for decanting or refilling. The bottles, made from 50% recycled plastic, feature precise dosing lids that ensure accurate color matching, minimizing waste. With four different bottle sizes tailored to popular tint formulations, the system also helps reduce inventory costs for ALSAYER.
The Irus Mix system enables body shops to operate more sustainably and cost-effectively while reducing bottlenecks and enhancing operational efficiency. It also frees up skilled refinishers to focus on more value-added tasks.
Medlej highlighted, “We estimate that body shops can save more than 60% on labor time compared to manual mixing and maintenance, dramatically improving productivity.”
