Kuwaiti Hajj caravans finalize preparations for pilgrimage season

Kuwaiti Hajj campaigns have finalized all preparations for the upcoming pilgrimage season, with the first group of pilgrims scheduled to depart for the holy sites this Friday. The final group is expected to arrive in Mecca by Monday.

Meanwhile, Saudi authorities are expected to issue the “Nusuk” cards for Kuwaiti pilgrims before the end of the week.

Ahmad Al-Dhuwaihi, head of the Hajj Campaigns Union, told Al-Rai, “Kuwaiti campaigns are now putting the final touches in place. We’ve secured all necessary permits for our pilgrims, and we expect to receive the Nusuk cards within days. These cards include all essential pilgrim information and official permits, enabling movement within the holy sites in Makkah and Madinah.”

Al-Dhuwaihi noted that the designated areas assigned to the Kuwaiti campaigns at the holy sites were received earlier than usual this year and have been fully equipped in advance. “Our campaign teams are already present on-site and have completed all logistical preparations to receive pilgrims,” he said.

He confirmed that the first batch of pilgrims is set to depart on Friday, with the last batch arriving by June 2 to begin performing the Hajj rituals. “Flight schedules have been finalized and all procedural requirements have been fulfilled,” he added.

Al-Dhuwaihi expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs for its continued support and facilitation of all procedures. “Thanks to their cooperation, this year’s preparations have progressed smoothly and efficiently,” he said. “Currently, there are no obstacles.

In the event of any issues, they are swiftly addressed through direct coordination with the Hajj Affairs Department, whose doors remain open to all campaign representatives at all times.”
