Kuwait Pakistan Friendship Association (KPFA) hosted an Iftar dinner in honor of its members. Ashar Shahzad, Deputy head of mission from Embassy of Pakistan, was guest of honor. The gathering saw the attendance of Dr. Umar Javed, Community Welfare Attaché Embassy of Pakistan, as well as a large number of KPFA members, other community members, and media personnel.
The program commenced with Talawat Quran. Rana Ijaz, President KPFA welcomed guests. Mubarak Al Sadoun Al Mutawa, Patron in chief welcomed the guests in his speech and praised Kuwait Pakistan relationship. He said KPFA completed 22 years and he patronizes the organization and wished to nominate his son Abdullah as Patron in chief from next year. Mr. Naqwi delivered a lecture on the importance of Ramadan during the program. The event concluded with Dua followed by a lavish Iftar dinner.
