Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Kuwait Chapter conducted an Iftar event as well as its Continuing Professional Educational (CPE) session for the benefit of its member and their families on 25 May at Copthorne Hotel, Kuwait City. The topic of the session was ‘About 5G – The Foundation of 4th Industrial Revolution’ led by speaker Zarrar Khan, Chief Technology Officer, VIVA Telecom. The Chief Guest of Honor was the CEO of Qualitynet Mohamad Al Nusif at the event, which was well attended by an audience of more than 130 people.
The event began with an Iftar and was followed by a welcome speech by CA Sai Devata, the Chairman of ICAI Kuwait Chapter.
CA Sai Devata, Chairman of the Chapter initially briefed the members about various activities planned by Kuwait Chapter for the current year before welcoming the speaker – Zarrar Khan to initiate the informative session.
Zarrar conducted the CPE session on ‘About 5G – The Foundation to 4th Industrial Revolution’. He explained the impact of 4th industrial revolution on human privacy and the rapid pace of technological advancement which is going to impact the customer lifestyles by enriching customer experience. He simplified the heavy technical terms in an easy way to help the gathering to understand its structure and included a lot of examples, videos and humor to keep the audience engaged.
During this session, Al Mulla Exchange also conducted a lucky draw event exclusive for its CA customers with five lucky winners getting amazing prizes. The event concluded with Vote of Thanks by the Secretary CA Deepak Bindal.
