UNICEF, Tanmeia Charity partner to support vulnerable children’s needs

The UNICEF and the Tanmeia Charity Association have joined forces through a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen their collaboration in supporting the rights and needs of the most vulnerable children in humanitarian crises.
To bring this vision to life, both organizations will collaborate on a series of events, initiatives, and activities aligned with UNICEF’s mission. Joint working committees have been established to design and implement targeted programs and projects, ensuring effective action within the framework of the MoU.
The MoU outlines key areas of collaboration, including enhancing access to quality education for children, promoting nutrition programs for both children and mothers, and supporting essential healthcare services for families.
Additionally, the partnership aims to improve access to clean water and safe sanitation while reinforcing protective measures against violence, abuse, and exploitation, ensuring a safer and healthier environment for vulnerable children.
The UNICEF Representative for the Gulf States, Eltayeb Adam, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership with the Tanmeia Charity Association, emphasizing its role in advancing children’s rights. He highlighted that this collaboration will enhance UNICEF’s efforts, and will broaden the impact of its initiatives, leading to better outcomes for children in need.
Adam also praised the association’s exceptional social and humanitarian contributions and affirmed UNICEF’s readiness to explore further cooperation, including potential agreements in countries like Palestine, Syria, and Sudan.
Dr. Nasser Al-Ajmi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tanmeia Charity Association, expressed his pride in collaborating with UNICEF, highlighting their shared commitment to supporting vulnerable children. He emphasized the association’s dedication to improving the lives of children, particularly orphans and those in need, and looked forward to working together to achieve their mutual humanitarian goals.
