The United Arab Emirates’ air defense systems are actively responding to missile and drone threats reportedly originating from Iran, according to the Ministry of Defense.
In an official statement, the ministry confirmed that sounds heard across various parts of the country were the result of interception operations targeting ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Authorities emphasized that air defense units remain fully engaged in countering the incoming threats, as operations continue to ensure the safety and security of the nation.
