The Saudi General Directorate of Civil Defense removed alert in Al-Kharj Governorate shortly after declaring emergency in the governorate on Mondary early morning.
The Directorate issued emergency alert messages via the National Early Warning Platform few minutes earlier without specifying the possible threat.
Removing the alert, it urged the public to continue abiding by the security precautions, avoid gatherings and refrain from taking photos of vital installations or security facilities.
The brief alert coincided with renewed missile attacks between Iran and the Israeli occupation in the small hours of Monday.
