A large number of young Kuwaitis suffer from psychological and social problems brought about by mental anguish from various causes, including disappointments and not being married, which sometimes lead them to contemplate or even commit suicide, said Dr. Amina Al-Sammak, professor of Clinical Psychology at Kuwait University and family advisor at the ministry of justice.
Even some school students suffer from psychological disorders due to, among others, body changes from transitioning to teenage and from bullying in schools. FInding solutions to these problems requires the combined cooperation and efforts of clinical psychologists working with the students who are psychologically impacted, along with their teachers and parents, said Dr. Al-Sammak.
She also added that the ministry of justice lends its assistance in solving many of the problems that arise between couples, most of which can be traced to simple reasons.
