The Ministry of Information announced the opening of the Yom Al-Bahar Heritage Village to the public on January 1, 2023, with a new look and new facilities.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry, Nasser Al-Muhaisen, told a local Arabic daily: “The ministry was keen to renew and modernize the village’s facilities, as a special area has been allocated for children’s games and 50 various selling points between heritage shops and others for food and beverages, in addition to allocating shops for owners of small projects.”
He stated the village contains a renewed heritage museum, and the ministry will be keen to put different content every week in front of the public, with the broadcast of television programs that include the presentation of various activities for the visitors of the village.
