The Ministry of Justice, the Central Bank of Kuwait and bankers discussed the possibility of electronic link between the ministry and banks. Informed sources told a local Arabic daily that the concerned officials pointed out \u201cthe targeted link includes notifications of bank reservations and disclosure of bank secrecy on the accounts of customers against whom the cases are pending,\u201d noting that \u201cthis step will ensure speedy activation and implementation of judgments issued against customers. <\/p>\n
The sources stated that “there was an understanding in principle on the importance of establishing an automatic link between the Ministry of Justice and the banks to enable the banks to get firsthand information on all verdicts issued in this regard, including seizure orders in a timely manner which will help quick implementation of the judicial orders. <\/p>\n
