Ministry of Communications since the beginning of a campaign has to collect its dues has collected about 9.3 million dinars from companies, institutions and individuals.<\/p>\n
A source from the ministry stated that a permanent committee has been formed to collect the ministry’s debts explaining that the ministry follows several methods in collecting debts and is following up the issue with the legal department. As for other debts, they are claimed amicably, and if this is not possible, the claim is made through court, reports a local Arabic daily.<\/p>\n
The ministry source told the daily the ministries and government institutions owe the Ministry of Communications about 21 million dinars until the end of last year.<\/p>\n
The source added that among the ways to collect debts is forcing the entities to submit a clearance certificate from the ministry before completing the transactions to benefit from the ministry’s services.<\/p>\n
In the same context, the ministry explained in a press statement the debt collection campaign was launched last March 13 to collect debts, including \u201cphone, fiber, telegram, domain, router, fiber-optic internet, and others,\u201d indicating that this campaign will continue until all its financial dues are collected.<\/p>\n
It called on all beneficiaries to pay their dues, in order to avoid cutting off the services provided to them, and to take the necessary legal measures against them.<\/p>\n
