The sustainable living environment axis in Kuwait Vision 2035 includes 5 pillars, the most prominent of which is to provide housing care to citizens through what is planned, to ensure the provision of 65.5 thousand housing units through 5 projects costing about 3.22 billion dinars, the last of which ends by 2029.<\/p>\n

When the implementation of these projects is completed, the state will have met approximately 72 percent of the current housing requests, which stands at 91,000, but the failure of the state during the period extending until 2029 to introduce new residential cities (other than the five projects), it will face the increasing number of applications up to 56 thousand (8,000 estimated applications annually x 7 years), which means that the speed of housing applications accumulating will exceed the speed of the state in completing projects and securing the life-long home for the Kuwaiti family, reports Al-Rai daily.<\/p>\n

Jaber Al-Ahmad<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The first project of the residential care plan revolves around the vision of Kuwait 2035 (New Kuwait) in the city of Jaber Al-Ahmad, which has a completion rate of 95% and will end at the end of 2022, at a cost of 325.4 million dinars.<\/p>\n

The project is located west of Kuwait City, 22 kilometers from the heart of the city. It extends over an area of \u200b\u200b12.4 square kilometers.<\/p>\n

The project includes housing alternatives, the total of which is estimated at more than 6,500 housing units allocated to those entitled for residential care, divided into about 4,600 plots, 1,400 homes, and 500 apartments.<\/p>\n

Al Mutla’a<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The second project is in the city of Al-Mutla’a, which has a completion rate of 64 percent, to be completed by the end of 2023, at a cost of 2.054 billion dinars.<\/p>\n

The project is located northwest of Kuwait, 10 km from Jahra and 40 km from Kuwait City. The project covers an area of \u200b\u200b104 km, and includes 12 residential suburbs, in addition to service suburbs, and includes 28,000 residential plots on an area of \u200b\u200b400 square meters complete with residential, and service suburbs containing commercial, health and educational facilities, in addition to other services dedicated to serving the city’s residents.<\/p>\n

South Abdullah Al Mubarak<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The third project is in the suburb of South Abdullah Al-Mubarak, which has a completion rate of 72 percent, and will be completed by the end of 2025, at a total cost of about 140.53 million dinars.<\/p>\n

The project is distinguished by its proximity to the Abdullah Al-Mubarak area and the West Abdullah Al-Mubarak project, and to the north of the Al-Shaddiya University project and is located, 20 kilometers from Kuwait City, and covers an area of \u200b\u200b4.3 kilometers, and includes more than 3,000 housing plots with an area of \u200b\u200b400 square meters allocated to those who deserve housing care.<\/p>\n

South Sabah Al-Ahmad<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The completion rate in the fourth project, which is the South Sabah Al-Ahmad, is about 14%, as it is still in the preparation stage, while it is expected to be completed in 2029 at a cost of 570.12 million dinars.<\/p>\n

The project is located in the south of Kuwait, 65 kilometers away from Kuwait City, and covers an area of \u200b\u200b60 square kilometers.<\/p>\n

It will include housing alternatives totaling 25,000 housing units. It will also include spaces designated for non-residential care purposes to serve the city\u2019s residents, as the planning and design work is currently underway for the project.<\/p>\n

South of Saad Al Abdullah<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

This south of Saad Al-Abdullah, which has a completion rate of 13%, as it is still in its preparatory phase and ends in 2029, at a cost of 136.66 million dinars.<\/p>\n

The project is located in the west of Kuwait, 5 kilometers from Jahra and 35 kilometers from the heart of Kuwait City, and covers an area of \u200b\u200b64.42 square kilometers. The project will be developed as a smart city and a sustainable and renewable urban environment to create a vibrant urban life.<\/p>\n

The project will include multiple housing alternatives, totaling 30,000 housing units. It will also include spaces designated for non-residential care purposes to serve the city’s residents.
