The cancellation of the decision to stop renewing work permits of non-graduate expatriates who are 60 years and above, which was issued by the former director of the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) Ahmed Al-Mousa, or amending it, will soon become a reality following the appointment by of PAM Deputy Director-General for the Human Resources Sector, Iman Al-Ansari to carry out the duties of the suspended director by Minister of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the PAM Board of Directors Abdullah Al-Salman, reports Al-Qabas daily. <\/p>\n
Al-Mousa was suspended from work for taking some ill-considered decisions, says a letter sent to Al-Mousa by the Undersecretary of the Fatwa and Legislation Department, Kazem Bou Abbas, copy of which has been obtained by the daily, but according to responsible sources, but an invitation is awaited from Al-Salman to hold a meeting of the PAM board of directors to investigate six violations attributed to Al-Mousa for harming Kuwait\u2019s reputation in front of the international community, particularly the human rights organizations which accuse Kuwait of \u2018human trafficking\u2019 by taking a decision to stop issuing work permits to non-graduate expatriates 60 years and above. He is also accused of inequality in the treatment of companies in the issuance of work permits. <\/p>\n
The six charges slapped against Al-Mousa are issuance of the 60 decision without referring to the competent minister and causing a demographic imbalance; harming Kuwait’s reputation; inequality in dealing with companies; causing lawsuits to be filed against PAM and disobedience to the Supreme Leader.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
