The ministry said all that the employee has to do is stand in front of the device and the device identifies the employee. <\/p>\n<p>The ministry, which employs more than 25,000 workers, said the new devices aim to tighten control over the employee during working hours.<\/p>\n<p>The sources explained this is done on an experimental basis, and if proved successful, it will be used to all sites affiliated with the ministry, saying that \u201cthe \u2018faceprint\u2019 attendance system prevents manipulation and forgery that may happen in the case of fingerprint attendance devices, since the ministry had earlier discovered many cases of forgery, and the suspects were referred to the authorities for investigation.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy has started the face print devices on trial basis to mark the attendance of its employees.
