According to statistics issued by the concerned authority there has been a 90 percent increase in the number of deaths \u2014 Kuwaitis and residents \u2014 as a result of overdose of drugs during 2018.<\/p>\n
The statistics say 115 people died \u2014 50 Kuwaitis and 65 expatriates of different nationalities \u2014 most of them were young men. Morphine is said to be the biggest killer culprit.<\/p>\n
The sources said that among the dead there were 6 women and 109 men. Bedoun in terms of rank came in second place for the highest number of deaths (18) of both sexes, followed by Egyptians with 10 dead (males), and the rest different nationalities.<\/p>\n
The source explained the highest deaths in age group was between 31 and 40 was the highest as per recorded cases, followed by those between 41 and 50 and 21 to 30 years and 51 to 60 years simultaneously.<\/p>\n
