The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) warned employees working at Kuwait International Airport (KIA) against the misuse of their exemption status granted during the curfew period, especially as employees travelling to and from work are given permission to simply show their official identity or the permit issued by the civil aviation, Al Qabas daily reported.<\/p>\n

The Deputy Director General for Kuwait International Airport Affairs, M. Saleh Al-Fadaghi, said based on the Ministry of Interior’s decision to provide an exemption for a list of employees during the curfew, there are those who are given security clearance allowing them to travel to and from work, and only have to present their employers’ identity at the checkpoints, but mishandling their status would lead to legal liability for the employee.<\/p>\n

He called on the authorities operating at the airport to provide a follow-up mechanism for employees, and to intimate them of these procedures.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
