Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced that new measures will be implemented once work resumes on Tuesday,6\/30\/2020, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. This decision is in compliance with the Council of Ministers regarding the return to normalcy plan to be done in stages in continuation of the efforts of MoI to limit the spread of the coronavirus and maintain the safety of citizens and expats.<\/p>\n
The administration added that the citizens\u2019 who visit the ministries should adhere to the health instructions and maintain social distancing by wearing face masks while visiting the ministry offices. A prior appointment will be needed via booking online through the www.moi.gov.kw website starting from Sunday. Carrying Civil ID card is mandatory for cross verification. There are no printing services for the required documents, and that all services and forms are done electronically at the reception.<\/p>\n
The following transactions will be allowed for visitors:<\/p>\n
1- Residency affairs department<\/strong> related to domestic workers according to Article (20), and they include:<\/p>\n \u2022 First-time residency status for entry who entered the country and the residency status requirements have been completed.<\/p>\n \u2022 Transferring residency from one sponsor to another. Also, consideration for expats who could not renew their residence due to curfew and total lockdown Those expats due to some reasons could not renew their residency.<\/p>\n 2- Traffic Transactions: <\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Issuing licenses for the first time for those who have passed the driving test.<\/p>\n \u2022 Renewing licenses.<\/p>\n \u2022 Issuance of a driving form for citizens<\/p>\n \u2022 Issuance of a driving form for domestic workers Article (20) for the driver.<\/p>\n \u2022 Vehicle renewal.<\/p>\n \u2022 Transferring vehicle ownership.<\/p>\n \u2022 Paying traffic violations.<\/p>\n 3- Judgment execution transactions. <\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced that new measures will be implemented once work resumes on Tuesday,6\/30\/2020, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
