Kuwait\u2019s total trade surplus of KD7.08 billion during the first eight months of 2018 declined to KD6.52 billion in the January to August period in 2019 according to the country\u2019s Central Statistics Bureau.<\/p>\n
Decline in the surplus has been attributed to a fall of 6.3 percent in exports, which reached KD13.34 billion over the reported period, versus KD14.23 billion in the same period a year earlier. However,the decline was partially offset by a 4.6 percent fall in imports, which stood at KD6.82 billion in the reported period.<\/p>\n
