Sheikh Salem Al\u00adNawaf Al\u00adAhmad Al\u00adSabah, the head of the festival organizing committee, said in a statement at the fishermen&#8217;s diwaniah, where the festival kicked off, that the new edition of the yearly event has drawn a large number of enthusiasts to partake in diverse contests and activities, namely fishing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The committee has increased the awards to lure as many participants as possible, he has indicated, assuring the contesting fishermen that paramedics on accompanying boats will be ready to help if they are needed.<\/p>\n<p>Coast guards are also helping in organizing of the event, he asys, re\u00adassuring the participants that the guards are ready to ensure their safety.
