It is also a perfect round-off to a main meal, potlucks, or backyard barbecue parties. The fruits used in the dessert can vary in line with seasonal and local availability.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation time:<\/strong> 15 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chilling time:<\/strong> 2 hours<\/p>\n<p><strong>Serving :<\/strong> 6<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup roasted and semi-dried mixed dry fruits (cashews, almonds, walnuts, pistachios)<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 cup jaggery (unrefined or semi-refined cane sugar)<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons of water<\/li>\n<li>1 cup of coconut milk<br \/>\n1\/2 cup whipping cream chilled<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp chia seeds<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp cinnamon powder<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp honey<\/li>\n<li>1 cup mixed chopped fruits (mango, strawberry, black grape, pomegranate, kiwi)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Soak the chia seeds in milk and leave overnight in the refrigerator<\/li>\n<li>Heat jaggery in a pan along with water to make a thick syrup, stir in the dry fruits<\/li>\n<li>Remove from the pan and let it cool on greased parchment paper<\/li>\n<li>Mix chilled whipping cream, cinnamon powder and honey to chia-soaked milk<\/li>\n<li>To serve, place a spoon of chopped mixed fruits in a small glass bowl or tall glass, add the sweetened milk cream and then the caramelized dry fruits.<\/li>\n<li>Add a second layer in the same order and serve chilled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-142128 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/timeskuwait.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Chhaya-Thakker.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"238\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Indian Chef <strong>Chhaya Thakker<\/strong>, who has a huge following online on WhatsApp and YouTube will be sharing her favorite recipes and cooking tips with readers of The Times Kuwait.
