A reliable security source told the daily the arrests came after confidential intelligence was received by the CID men. Subsequent thorough investigations substantiated this information, confirming that the two Asians were operating a clandestine liquor store in the residential area of the city.<\/p>\n
To apprehend the culprits, an undercover agent was dispatched, striking a deal with them to purchase a specific quantity of alcohol. When the exchange was taking place, law enforcement officials raided the site and took the men into custody.<\/p>\n
Upon interrogation, the suspects confessed to their involvement in the illegal alcohol trade and disclosed the location of the rented house in Jaber Al-Ahmad city where they had stored the contraband.
