This year, the globally minded festival will showcase more than 50 movies including highly anticipated offerings from\u00a0Wes Anderson,\u00a0Todd Haynes,\u00a0Ken Loach,\u00a0Martin Scorsese,\u00a0Jessica Hausner,\u00a0Alice Rohrwacher,\u00a0James Mangold,\u00a0Pedro Almod\u00f3var, Ramata-Toulaye Sy,\u00a0and\u00a0Wim Wenders,\u00a0among others.<\/p>\n
The 76th Annual Cannes Film Festival begins Tuesday, May 16, and runs through Saturday, May 27, and, over the course of those 12 days, stars will descend on the French Riviera to support their projects with press conferences, photo-calls, and premieres. With those obligations come multiple opportunities to showcase all sorts of fashion. From relaxed daytime looks inspired by the Mediterranean coast of southeastern France to gowns reminiscent of old Hollywood, the possibilities to make red carpet history are endless.
