The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs confirmed that charities authorized to collect donations in mosques during the holy month of Ramadan adhere to the rules for collection, as no complaints have been received so far that constitute a violation of the established controls.<\/p>\n

The sources told Al-Rai that the associations authorized to collect donations in mosques affiliated with the Ministry of Awqaf have so far adhered to the organizational schedule approved by the undersecretary, noting that there is coordination between the associations and the mosque sector, with follow-up by the Ministry of Social Affairs.<\/p>\n

The sources added that a specific period has been allocated for associations to visit mosques, which is five days in one governorate during the holy month, explaining that this regulation came to limit the presence of more than one charitable association in one place.<\/p>\n

While it was reported that 32 charitable societies were included in the decision to allow the collection of donations, the sources confirmed that the associations adhered to the mechanisms for collecting donations, which is not to receive any \u201ccash\u201d money, but through \u201cKnet\u201d devices and bank deductions tp avoid facing legal accountability.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
