Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah re-affirmed on Tuesday Kuwait’s firm stance towards backing peace and stability in Libya.<\/p>\n

This came during a meeting between Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled and a delegation of Libya’s Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord at National Assembly, Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry said in a press statement.<\/p>\n

The meeting was attended by foreign minister of Libya’s unity government Mohammad Siala, it added.<\/p>\n

Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled also called on all parties to reject violence and disseminate peace as well as achieve the desired prosperity.<\/p>\n

Ongoing security situations on Libya and the aggravated developments have been reviewed during the meeting, it noted.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Ahmad Maiteeq, deputy head of Libya’s Presidential Council, expressed appreciations to the role played by Kuwait, and its call for calm as well as the unity of Libyan people.<\/p>\n
