Winter Wonderland to combat black market for tickets

The Organizing Committee of the “Winter Wonderland” entertainment events in Kuwait confirmed that cases of selling tickets on the black market will be controlled through the development of new mechanisms with the aim of combating the black market.

The committee told a local Arabic daily, Tuesday, that the Winter Wonderland activities operate in accordance with the highest standards of security, safety and organization followed in international entertainment events, indicating that the specified capacity will gradually increase to reach the maximum allowable level.

The sources explained that cases of selling tickets on the black market do not reflect the general picture of organized work, noting that any case that is discovered or reported is dealt with in accordance with legal procedures that preserve the rights of everyone.

The sources stated that the concerned people will work hard to increase the number of tickets in the coming days with the development of new mechanisms for selling them, pointing out that the website has attracted thousands of visitors to book tickets since its opening with ease.

The “Winter Wonderland” activities include more than 30 games, entertainment venues, games and live performances, in addition to kiosks offering various types of food and drinks.
