The Ministry of Health has informed the Ministry of Education that a delegation from the World Health Organization will visit some schools to find out about the educational aspects related to health.
The Ministry of Health said in a letter, a copy of which has been obtained by Al-Anba, read, “We extend our greetings and appreciation to you and appreciate your efforts and the continuous fruitful cooperation between our two ministries, and we inform you that due to the evaluation of the cities of the Abdullah Al-Salem suburb and the Shamiya region by the World Health Organization for accreditation as global health cities, the organization’s delegation will visit Kuwait for the final evaluation of the cities of Abdullah Al-Salem and Al-Shamiya suburbs and the initial evaluation of the Surra and Al-Adailiya regions.
The evaluation includes visiting schools in the region to find out the educational aspects related to health.
Representatives of the schools will be present during the visit to submit their report on their work to meet the standards of the educational axis in the health city, which is one of the requirements for accrediting cities.
The health ministry has requested ‘Education’ to ensure personnel are present at their respective sites to participate in submitting reports on the day preceding the visit, knowing that the team consists of only 4-6 people, and health requirements will be observed at all stages of visits and evaluation.”
