The US Senate approved on Tuesday a USD 480 billion relief package to assist small businesses and hospitals affected by the coronavirus outbreak.
The package, which will provide much-needed assistance for small firms and help hospitals cope with funding for additional virus testing, is expected to be voted on by the House this Thursday.
Urging congressmen to pass the package, President Donald Trump said his administration would next begin discussing plans for nationwide financial assistance directed at infrastructure projects that have halted and are suffering inadequate funding due to the pandemic.
