US confirmed coronavirus cases exceeded 700,000 Friday as over 29,000 new cases were recorded in one day, according to Johns Hopkins University.
The tally showed that the confirmed cases reached 700,282 nationwide.
The US overall coronavirus deaths reached 36,822, as over 3,500 deaths have been recorded yesterday.
