Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu on Wednesday organized a dinner banquet in honor of visiting Kuwaiti Foreign Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Dr. Sheikh Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah and his accompanying delegation.
The Kuwaiti minister is paying an official visit to Turkey where he and his Turkish counterpart will head the meeting of the joint Kuwaiti-Turkish committee on Thursday (tomorrow). During the banquet, the two sides reviewed all issues that concern the two friendly countries and the regional and international developments.
The joint committee will discuss enhancing and developing the bilateral relations between the two countries. The banquet gathered Kuwait’s Ambassador to Turkey Ghassan Al-Zawawi, General Consul in Istanbul Mohammad Al-Mohammad, Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for the Minister’s Office Affairs Advisor Ahmad Al-Shuraim, Deputy Foreign Minister Assistant for Europe Affairs Counsellor Mohammad Hayati, and a number of senior officials at the ministry.
Earlier in the day, the Turkish foreign ministry said that the two sides would discuss means of deepening cooperation between the two countries and sharing views on the regional and international developments.
