US President Donald Trump announced Monday evening that he will be signing an Executive Order to “temporarily” suspend immigration into the US amid the coronavirus outbreak.
“In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States!” Trump tweeted.
This comes as the confirmed coronavirus cases in the US reached about 786,638 and related fatalities surpassed 42,295.
