The investigation conducted into the causes of the tire fire that broke out in Erhayya area, in Jahra Governorate, earlier in the day, reached a conclusion that it was “deliberate”, Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) said on Tuesday.
The investigation’s teams started work at the site, whose area is about 5,000 square meters, and collected information on the blaze, the KFF’s public relations and media department said in a statement.
The teams discovered that the incident was “deliberate”, it added. The relevant technical report will be prepared for submitting it to the concerned bodies so take required measures, Colonel Hassan Al-Mosawi was quoted by the department as saying. Four firefighters managed to control the fire in a tire yard. The force revealed no casualties were reported.
