The Kuwait Municipality committee has assigned the deputy director general of the Farwaniya and Mubarak Al-Kabeer governorates sector, Eng. Nawaf Al-Kandari, to coordinate with the Ministry of Finance regarding the request of the tent market users in the Al-Rai area to give them a deadline to vacate until April 1.
An informed source told Al-Qabas that the Deputy Director General of the Projects Sector, Eng. Maysa Boushahri presented the allocation of the current tent market site in the Al-Rai area to the Municipal Council, to agree to re-allocate it for the investment of the site by offering it in a bid to manage and implement it, and to set the technical conditions and specifications necessary for that in coordination with the Public Markets Committee, and start offering it after its evacuation, indicating that It was decided to assign the Projects Sector to coordinate with the Legal Department to increase the area of the central tent market in Jahra Governorate.
The source said that the Coordinating Committee assigned the Deputy Director General of the Services Sector, Mishaal Al-Azmi, to follow up on the consultant for cleaning contracts, and to prepare a detailed report on the future vision for the development of these contracts, as well as coordination with the Public Cleanliness Committee to consider the consultant’s contract regarding continuing to offer or cancel it, as well as agreeing to see the procedures that precede the issuance of cleaning tenders, through qualification or classification, and presenting a copy of technical conditions to the committee at its next meeting.
