Kuwait Agro in collaboration with Qurtoba Co-op, and the US Embassy, inaugurated -The American Truck on 13th October. The new shop-in-shop concept highlights American made products. Mr. Larry Memmott, Chargé d’Affaires at the American Embassy in Kuwait, Makram Malaeb, Agro CEO, Qurtoba Co-op Management, and members of the Kuwait community inaugurated the store.
Following the inauguration, Malaeb highlighted the vast range of American products to the attendees present. He also mentioned that he takes pride in prompting American products in Kuwait.
According to Mr. Larry Memmott, every year many Kuwaitis travel to the United States for academics or as tourists. They return with a taste for American products. He also said that- The American Truck will showcase more than 400 U.S. food and consumer products, providing customers with an opportunity to enjoy unique products in Kuwait.
Nasser Al Basri, Chairman of Qurtoba Co-op said that It was a matter of pride to be the first Co-op to launch The American Truck in Kuwait as his customers always seek high quality and unique products.
He also mentioned, The American Truck is available online through gourmetpicks.com and across retail stores in Kuwait.
