The World Trade Organization released a statement that the next ministerial conference of the organization will be held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, in February 2024, a local daily reported. The report detailed that the UAE and Cameroon were vying to host the upcoming meeting and had informally agreed that Abu Dhabi would host the first meeting, to be followed by Cameroon. Moreover, trade ministers from the 164 WTO member states meet every few years at a ministerial conference and agree on new global trade rules.
