The Public Corporation for Housing Welfare held a “first aid” workshop for its leaders with the aim of training staff on first aid. The workshop was organized in coordination with the Ministry of Health represented by the Medical Emergency Department.
The Head of the Security and Safety Department, Eng. Sarah Al-Ajmi, confirmed that the first training workshop for employees on first aid was launched as a matter of cooperation between state agencies, and optimizing the use of government expertise and competencies, as the employee acquires the skill in dealing with accidents and emergencies. The employees will undergo 6 training workshops.
Al-Ajmi added that “Al-Sakania” is considered a pioneer in this field because it is the first government agency that coordinated with the Medical Emergency Department to train its employees in-person after the in-person training stopped during the pandemic.
He also noted that the trainee will obtain an international license approved by the American Heart Association, to achieve the institution’s vision and plan in dealing with emergency health cases, as well as to ensure the safety of employees and auditors, and spread health and preventive awareness to deal with emergency cases.
