The health situation in Kuwait is stable

Everyone can receive the booster provided 6 months have passed

Government spokesperson, Tariq Al-Mizrem, confirmed yesterday that the health situation in Kuwait is stable. This came in a statement made by Al-Mizrem, after the meeting of the “Ministerial Committee for Corona Emergencies”, which was held last evening, headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah.

Arabic daily Al Qabas said that Al-Mizrim explained that the “Ministerial Committee” is in continuous session, and will continue to hold its meetings to follow up on the latest developments in the health situation in the country.

He stated that during yesterdays meeting, the committee listened to an explanation by the Minister of Health, Dr. Basil Al-Hamoud Al-Sabah, on the latest developments in the epidemiological situation in Kuwait, where he explained the extent of its stability as a result of the efforts of the Ministry of Health and the concerned ministries and their implementation of Cabinet decisions regarding confronting the Corona virus.

He pointed out that the committee listened to the opinions of the concerned government agencies in addition to field reports regarding the implementation of health requirements and the extent of commitment to their application.

He called on all citizens and residents to continue to apply health requirements, whether wearing a mask and full protection to maintain public health, and to receive the required vaccinations and the enhanced booster dose.

And he indicated that everyone can receive the third stimulating dose against Corona disease without prior appointments, provided that six months have passed since receiving the second dose, stressing the importance of this step to activate immunity and provide better protection from the risk of infection to maintain the stability of the health situation in  Kuwait.
