The rate of clinical occupancy in intensive care and Covid 19 wards with Corona patients significantly increased recently, high-ranking government sources warned that the epidemiological situation in the country is treading towards danger, Al Qabas daily reported.
These sources told the daily that the option of imposing curfew and closing activities has entered the agenda of the immediate options if the frightening health situation continues.
There are many hospitals that are overwhelmed with the arrival of the new coronavirus cases, and the number is suspiciously increasing, pointing out that the hospitals of Al-Adan, Jahra, and Farwaniya are close to reaching the top of their capacity of admitting the maximum number of patient capacity. This constitutes a huge burden on the medical staff who are racing against time to treat the coronavirus cases.
Jaber Hospital receives 160 hospital admissions for people with corona daily, which puts the country on the brink of danger.
The health authorities, under orders and follow-up from the Minister of Health, Dr. Basil Al-Sabah, will present a comprehensive report next Thursday, which will include the health situation in the country and the proposed solutions, either by imposing a partial curfew, or a total ban.
