Cabinet cancels the 72-hour requirement to conduct a PCR to end the home quarantine for arriving travelers

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali, announced the Cabinet’s approval of a decision stipulating the possibility of ending home quarantine for immunized arrivals to the country in the event that a “PCR” examination is performed immediately after arrival that proves that they are free of the Corona virus, as of tomorrow, Tuesday.

Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali, head of the Ministerial Committee for Corona Emergencies, said that the Council of Ministers agreed to apply home quarantine to immune arrivals to the country for a period of 7 days, with the possibility of ending the quarantine in the event that a “PCR” examination is conducted immediately after arrival, which proves that they are free of corona virus.

The General Administration of Civil Aviation also announced that, based on the approval of the Council of Ministers, home quarantine will be applied to immune arrivals to the country for a period of 7 days after arrival, with the possibility of ending the quarantine before that in the event that a PCR examination is performed immediately after arrival, which proves that they are free of the virus
