Temperature fluctuations call for jackets to prevent influenza

Kuwait will record low temperatures in the coming days, particularly in the evening periods, and also early mornings, which may drop to 12 to 11 degrees Celsius on land, and less than 17 degrees Celsius in the city, forecast meteorologist Issa Ramadan, reported Al-Qabas.

He warns the public of the necessity of wearing a light jacket, or to keep one close by just in case the temperatures drops, stating that jackets will prevent influenza common during this period of the year, especially among children.

Ramadan stressed that during the daylight hours the weather is still warm, as the temperature will likely be 24 or 25 degrees Celsius, which is considered acceptable weather, but noted that there is a rapid fluctuation between the maximum and minimum temperatures.

He pointed out that the weather begin to decline, but slowly, and that next week, there will be southeasterly strong winds. He also predicted that at dawn on Sunday, the weather will be cold, and the following week, there will be rains expected to be moderate to heavy.
