The Directorate-General of Criminal Investigation, represented by the Department of Protection of Public Morals and Combating Trafficking in Persons, has arrested a taxi driver of Arab nationality for helping workers escape from the homes of their sponsors.
The Security Media Department said the aim of helping the domestic workers to escape is to find them work on hourly basis while such taxi drivers have their commission.
The driver has been referred to the competent authority to take the necessary legal measures against him.
